"Safe Haven" - Ασφαλές καταφύγιο

"You are my rock and my safe haven"

Zakynthos or Zante as it is also known, is one of the most exotic Greek islands. Sitting adjacent to the Peloponnese in the Ionian Sea, it boasts a wonderful natural landscape and magical beaches.

When we arrived by ferry that night there were large waves battling the boat. However the Zakynthos port is very well protected by the rough seas so as soon as we sailed into the port you felt very safe. 

Couple of days later I woke up early and went at sunrise to the port to take an image which could convey the amazing feeling we all have when you arrive somewhere where you feel safe again.
