"Dedication"

During the winter of 2018, I was in a little slump with my photography. Was struggling for motivation to get out of bed or go out as the Melbourne winter can be very cold.

This evening it was raining and cold, so I decided to go to my local jetty and see if there was something I could photography differently, even though I did not expect any sunset colours as the clouds were very heavy. When I walked down the jetty I could see two fishermen in the distance, fishing even though the approaching storm was evident in the horizon.

This scene changed my mentality and got me out of my slump. Seeing someone so dedicated to their craft made me understand I should also stay dedicated to my craft, and better days and enjoyment will come again, which they and won Bronze award 2020.
