"I want to explore" - Θέλω να εξερευνήσω

Standing at the edge of the Lefkada lake early one August morning, I could see the very still water, with reflections form the morning sun, and with mountains in the distance. I have lived in Lefkada for many years but had not ventured into the far mountains as of yet. 

All I could think of is that "I want to explore".

I want to explore those mountains in the distance.

I want to explore those villages and regions in the distance.

Like in life, something so close can feel so far. Is it because we have never explored. it with an open mind? The time is now, I want to explore, and that day I did.
