    Our IONION Islands Tour of ZANTE - KEFALLONIA - PATRA - KORINTH photography tour will take place in October 2025 with workshop leader Giannis Vlahos.

    Greek Photo tours of the Ionion Islands

    Hosted on the islands of Zante , or in greek Zakynthos, and Kefallonia, these island are very popular and ideal for photographers of all levels to fall in love with the picturesque villages.


    We will visit the blue caves of Zante, the small village of Assos in Kefalonia, and many other locations ideal for some landscape photography.


     Both islands will require 2-to-3-night stays to experience them fully.


    Dates - 13 Oct to 21 Oct, 2025.

    • 13 October to 21st October 2025.
    • Duration: 9 Days and 8 nights

    Small Group

    • Group of 6 or 7 people max
    • Ideal small size to provide enough flexibility to meet your photography requirements during sunrise and sunset locations.

    Travel Itinerary

    • We travel by road from Athens to Patra where we take a break and photograph the Rio Antirio Suspension Bridge.
    • We then travel to Zante for 3 nights.
    • We then travel to Kefalonia for 3 nights.
    • Stop over at Korinth Canal.
    • Travel by road back to Athens.

    • After 1st July full payment is required to secure your place.

    PRICE

    • Two Sharing $AUD 9,000. Single occupancy US$ 10,500

    GROUP SIZE

    • Max 7 participants to allow for tuition and appropriate photographic opportunities. 
       

    HOW STRENUOUS?

    • It can be undertaken by anyone who can manage with everyday walking.
    • 1-2 locations might require some stair climbing.


    WHAT IS INCLUDED

    • All accommodation, double occupancy. Single occupancy supplement fee applies.
    • Quality Hotels – Minimum 3 or 4 star across all locations.
    • All breakfasts, and dinners. 9 x Breakfasts , 8 x Dinners (1x Alcoholic drink per meal)
    • All meals, breakfast and dinner will be provided at local restaurants, cafes. This give you maximum choice, allowing to choose a meal that matches your dietary requirements.
    • Private coach transport, boat and ferry tours as per itinerary.
    • Pre-tour travel advice and a tour pack on Greece Arrival.
    • Workshop Tour Leader that knows local customs and is fluent in Greek & English
    • Private photographic tuition each day at various locations.
    • Private and group post-production tuition as required.

    WHAT TO BRING

    There’s an old saying: "The best camera is the camera you have with you!”
     
    But with a little bit of planning, we can have everything we need. 


    • Camera with at least two fully charged batteries.
    • Battery charger
    • Camera lenses (at least a wide angle and a zoom)
    • Memory cards
    • Tripod
    • Camera bag
    • Lens cleaner or cloth
    • Polarizing filter (highly recommended) and/or ND filters (optional)
    • Remote shutter release (optional)
    • Charging cords
    • A small umbrella - this may be used to protect the camera from rain
    • A small travel towel to protect the camera or dry it off
    • Personal Medications


    Optional - Laptop for editing - We will be using Lightroom Classic for demonstrations during editing sessions.
