On my last day in Lefkada in 2023, I visited a spot just outside the little village of Agios Nikitas for one last swim. That day, the blue ocean stretched endlessly before me, its surface a mesmerizing blend of clear waters with rocks underneath the surface, inviting me to explore with a swim. Before I did, I was feeling a little blue because it was my last day in Lefkada.

With the two little boats on the horizon, I could see they were splitting the blues of the water from the blues of the sky. All I could see was blue, a beautiful blue expanding forever into the distance, making me feel better.

It is normal to feel blue at times in your life. Maybe I will forever feel blue at times in my life. But every time I want to go to a happy place, I stare into this gorgeous print, and let the blue of the sky and ocean take some of my blue away. Forever Blue.
