"Stay Calm" - Παραμείνετε ήρεμοι

One of the notable Greek churches featured in movies on the island of Corfu is the Vlacherna Monastery and the adjacent Pontikonisi (Mouse Island). The Vlacherna Monastery is a small church-like structure located on a small island connected by a causeway to Corfu.

This particular morning, the stillness of the water, the quite surroundings made for a lovely peaceful setting which made me calm and relaxed. I wanted to capture that calmness so I decided to use the piece of log in the water as the foreground element and the famous church as the background.

What a lovely and calming morning that was. Reminds me to Stay Calm, the storm will pass.
